Georgiana Riley's program title is - What is Activated Carbon and how is it used to purify water. Ms. Riley is the President and CEO of TIGG Corporation headquartered in Oakdale, PA. TIGG Corporation designs, manufactures and services purification equipment and systems for the removal of contaminants from air and water for industrial and environmental applications.
Ms. Riley has been recognized for her achievements, most notably by Gov. Ed Rendell as one of Pennsylvania’s 50 Best Women in Business. She was also recently named by the Women and Girls Foundation of Pittsburgh as a “Woman in the Material World” award recipient. Ms. Riley is active in her community where she served as a Township Supervisor for nearly ten years, Vice Chairman of the Regional Planning Commission, and is currently serving as Chairperson of the Joint Water and Sewer Authority in her municipality. She served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and is also an active member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Women Presidents Organization. She was recently elected to the Board of Directors of Catalyst Connection, which is a Manufacturing Extension Partnership organization and also serves on the Board of Adagio Health. She is active in several mentoring programs for Women Owned Businesses and serves on the Advisory Panel of Powerlink which is associated with the Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence at the University of Pittsburgh. She and her husband own and operate a 170 acre farm in Avella, PA where they raise Registered Angus Breeding Cattle.

This is a joint meeting with Canonsburg-Houston Club to give out the District 7330 awards from the contest to provide the art for the Peace greeting card. First place was Alexi Nyiri from the Canonsburg Middle School, while second place was Hannah Falcione from Peters.
