Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a district event held the last week of June at the University of Pittsburgh – Johnstown. The PTHS Guidance office picks two attendees who are finishing their junior or sophomore year.
RYLA stresses team building, business marketing and development, ethics and also provides plenty of time for social activities. Most of the time is spent in seminars and class type settings.
Melissa Bittner – one of the students our Club sponsored last year went on to become the co-president of the Interact Club, and our outbound foreign exchange student. |
